Surgery

The surgery is scheduled for this week. I cannot say for sure when exactly it will take place, but the tentative plan is for later this week. One prayer request from Nichole comes from Romans 12:12, that she will not be overcome by this evil, the evil being the constant pain she has, but that she would instead overcome that evil with good.

Hi Nichole This is Uncle Bill and Aunt Audrey. We finally got your Blog Norm sent it to me before I just didn't get it for some reason. We always pray for you, but this makes it easer to know just how to pray. I know that God alway is in control and know just what you need. We are so sorry that you are in so much pain. We pray that when you have the operation that will take care of some of the pain. I know that this is so hard on all of the family.
We love you.
Aunt Audrey

Nichole wants to rejoice in hope, be patient in this tribulation and continue steadfastly in prayer.

Please pray for her to continue to be able to do this.

She is so close to Jesus in her heart and mind through this trial. Praise God for that!

Hello friends,

After several postponements, the surgery is scheduled for today at 2pm. The doctors want to be very careful that Nichole is physically ready to go in at 2pm today. Please pray for their wisdom as they plan to bring her to surgery today. Please pray for her to be ready and if she is not, that they would know it. We're praying for a successful surgery to relieve her pain, and for no cancer to be found and for her recovery time. Nichole is nervous about the NG tube that will be in her nose down to her tummy afterwards. Pray for peace and comfort with that tube.

Hello friends,

As of 10:30pm this evening, the news on Nichole's surgery is that it is completed and she is in recovery. Norm is with her now and waiting for her to "wake up".

Praise the Lord for the surgery taking place and that she is in recovery now.

We will know more regarding personal care needs after tomorrow evening or Friday.
Regarding hospital visitation, we'll know more about that probably next week.

Please keep Nichole in prayer especially regarding the tube that will be in her nose leading down to her stomach. Please pray that she could have a calmness and an indescribeable peace regarding the tube. Pray for her recovery physician that he would have wisdom in caring for Nichole.

Sincerely your sister in Jesus,

Carina
