Update

I received this update from Sue Leber today and I think it helps to answer some of your questions about the upcoming surgery.
Nichole will be going in for her surgery on Thursday 10/23. at 5:00 pm, she will need to be at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank about 3 pm that day.
She and Norm ask for your prayers and the Lords strength through this time. They give thanks to God for so many of you who have come along side of them through this trial. Thanks for all your kindness and love.

Those that may want to visit Nichole as she recovers in the hospital, the Greenes have asked for you to speak with Norm the evening before your visit, in case she is not up to visitors and so she can rest and recover. She will be in ICU for a day or two if all goes well.
Norm and Nichole welcome prayer warriors to come on the day of surgery,
Thursday, 10/23 between 4-5 pm

I am hoping to speak with Nichole soon and post another update for you. Please continue to check the blog, so you can know how to pray for them.

Thank you so much Julie for your faithfulness in updating Nichole and Norm's prayer needs. I have been sending the blog updates and Sue's e-mails to my circle of praying friends. If it would be an encouragement to Nichole, when you talk to her again, would you please tell her that Church in the Wildwood (Anchorage, AK) and the ladies bible study group and the Anchorage Bible study group and Westside Baptist Church in Billings, Mt and their Ladies Bible group and many other friends and family around the country (just from whom I know) are praying fervently. Our children have been praying every day with us for strength, courage, and healing for the Greenes. Our son Luke is evangelizing his classmates and teachers at school as he prays at lunch and talks about the Lord. The opportunity to be a part of the Greenes' life through prayer has provided many new opportunities to talk about the Lord with many people and has quickened our hearts to think heavenward and to trust God with all our hearts and ask Him to accomplish His good and perfect will in our lives. We plead for only His good and perfect will be done, as anything else is meaningless and full of sorrow!

Praise the Lord for Nichole's response to her trial.

"Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." James 1:2-4
